Acknowledge and Confess Your Sins: Start by acknowledging your mistakes and accepting responsibility for your actions. Sincerely apologize for any harm caused and for deviating from the path of righteousness.
Repent of Your Sins:Repentance is the sincere resolve to abandon sin and dedicate oneself to a life in harmony with divine will. It represents an ongoing journey of change, rather than a singular event.
Ask for Forgiveness: Seek God’s forgiveness with faith, confident in His readiness and capacity to forgive. Recognize that forgiveness is a generous gift from God, not a reward that can be obtained or merited by our deeds.
Receive Forgiveness: Hold fast to the assurance of God’s forgiveness. Embrace His grace and mercy, releasing any residual guilt or shame. Have faith in His unwavering love and the liberation that accompanies His pardon.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before You with a humble and contrite heart, recognizing my faults and asking for Your forgiveness. I seek Your grace to cleanse me from all my sins, both those I am aware of and those I am not.
I acknowledge my shortcomings and the times I have wandered from Your path. Please guide me back to You, strengthen me to resist temptation, and help me remain true to Your ways. I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, who took on my sins and through His resurrection, offers me the gift of eternal life.
I openly profess that Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I surrender my life to His care and invite Him into my heart. May He fill me with the Holy Spirit, so that I may live in a way that reflects Your love and grace.
As I begin this journey of faith, grant me wisdom to understand Your will, courage to follow Your commandments, and compassion to share Your forgiveness with others.
