God’s Promises Never Fail

Genesis -(8:21) – “I will never again curse the ground because of human beings, even though the inclination of the human heart is evil from youth onward. And I will never again strike down every living thing as I have done.

Promises are frequently broken, causing disappointment and affecting various relationships in our lives. Despite our genuine intentions, it’s challenging to fulfill commitments, leading to failures like neglecting responsibilities or disregarding personal goals.

God promises not to destroy the earth and all living things as he did in the past. He remains faithful to this promise by sparing Noah, his family, and a group of animals from the impending catastrophe.

God commanded Noah to build an ark according to specific instructions, and Noah, along with his three sons, obeyed and constructed it. They were instructed to bring two of every living creature, male and female, onto the ark to preserve them from the impending flood that would destroy all life on earth.

Noah obeyed God and brought clean animals in pairs of seven and unclean animals in pairs of two onto the ark. God made a covenant with Noah to save him and his family from the flood and vowed never to curse the ground or destroy all living things on earth again.

Noah and his household entered the ark. It rained for forty days and nights, flooding the earth. The waters receded after forty days, and Noah and his family emerged from the ark. They built an altar and offered burnt sacrifices using clean animals and birds.

God was pleased with the offering and made a promise to never destroy everything on earth again. This promise was symbolized by a rainbow in the clouds, indicating that water would never again cause a flood to destroy all creatures on earth.

People miss out on God’s promises without meditating or studying the Bible, like neglecting a treasure trove full of valuable treasures.
