John -( 2:1-11) – This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and [a]manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.

The belief in miracles varies based on personal faith and opinions. People hold different views on whether miracles still occur or were limited to the past. Instances such as healing from illness, answered prayers, and surviving dangerous situations are often considered miracles.
My testimony, While working in Bangalore, India, I went on a group trip with my colleagues to visit the Mekedatu River. This river is famous for its scenic beauty and powerful waterfalls, but it is also notorious for its dangerous currents, which have caused fatalities in the past.
During the trip, I faced a life-threatening situation when I slipped and started drowning. Unable to swim and with my group far away, I desperately tried to stay above the water. Despite multiple efforts, I couldn’t get the attention of my companions. Watching myself sink deeper, I felt a sense of hopelessness.
The unexpected intervention of my colleague’s husband, a skilled swimmer, turned the tide. Against all odds, he was able to rescue me and bring me back to the surface, saving my life. In that critical moment, I couldn’t help but feel a profound sense of gratitude and wonder. It was as if a divine force had intervened, sending an angel in the form of my colleague’s husband to extend my time on this Earth.
This experience reinforced my belief in miracles and their impact on our lives. Miracles continue to occur, defying perceived limitations. They give hope and faith, testifying to the power of the human spirit and shaping our lives. This incident taught me to value life, appreciate blessings, show compassion, and believe in humanity’s goodness.
The story of Jesus’ first miracle involves turning water into wine at a wedding in Cana, proving divine intervention, compassion, and gratitude. Can draw a parallel between this biblical event and my personal experience of being rescued from drowning, perceiving it as a contemporary manifestation of divine intervention. Express gratitude to God for the miracle and recognize the presence and power of God in my life.
True inspiring stories of miracles.
Surviving a plane crash: One of the most famous examples is the story of Juliane Koepcke. In 1971, when she was just 17 years old, Juliane was the sole survivor of a plane crash in the Peruvian rainforest. After the plane was struck by lightning, it disintegrated in mid-air, and Juliane fell 10,000 feet still strapped to her seat. Despite suffering injuries and being left stranded in the jungle, After days of walking and encountering various challenges, she was ultimately rescued. Juliane’s survival in such extreme circumstances is often considered a miraculous testament to the resilience of the human spirit.
