Galatians-(5:22-23) - "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things, there is no law."
Author: Evangelist Daniel Sushanth
The message is about conscious choices, positive influences, and consequences of negative decisions. Stay grounded in faith and allow the “fruit of the Spirit” to guide actions and decisions.
Considering negative influences, like Satan’s temptations, is crucial. When faced with offers from Satan, individuals should recognize the truth and say no, exercising discernment and remaining steadfast in their faith.
Embracing Satan’s offers leads to becoming trapped in a dark world, losing freedom, and being enslaved to his influence. It can result in destructive behaviors, such as drug abuse, pornography, and robbery, driven by the pursuit of shortcuts to wealth. The allure of temporary gains blinds individuals to long-term consequences, pulling them away from righteousness.
Daniel, a man of integrity and faithfulness, remained steadfast in his devotion to the Lord amid persecution and laws outlawing prayer to God. Despite being thrown into the lion’s den for his faith, God protected Daniel by shutting the lions’ mouths, showcasing His power. Daniel’s unwavering commitment to his beliefs ultimately elevated him to a position of influence in Babylon.
Believers yield to the Holy Spirit, and the “fruit of the Spirit” becomes evident: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These virtues testify to God’s transformative power and reflect a genuine connection with Him.
The “fruit of the Spirit” is a roadmap for living, guiding us to become examples of Christ’s love and grace. By making conscious decisions, following positive influences, and being cautious of negative consequences, we stay rooted in faith, navigate challenges, and exemplify a righteous life.
